The Democrats won the House a few hours ago. They're struggling to get control of the Senate, and they've won most of the important Illinois races that were up for grabs.
Joe Lieberman came back to win after losing the primary, giving less hope to people who hate party politics. The only successful Independents in the past eight years have been a sourpuss conservative Democrat and a wrestler. I myself would've chosen the wrestler.
Luckily, Mark Foley did not win his race even while being a gay child molester and while not running, in a blatant stroke against the norm of democracy.
