From the Chicago Sun-Times:

Breaking out the folding chairs

Jerry Springer surprised everyone by showing up at a Kerry/Edwards fundraiser in Centerville, Ohio, which started rumors that he may run for the governor in 2004.
But would voters be able to overlook his horrible show? Here's what he had to say: "Whatever you think about my show, which clearly is the stupidest show in the history of television, my show didn't shut down one factory; it didn't close one school; the problems that affect people's lives have nothing to do with television."
Springer says if he does run for governor, he'll stop production on his show this coming season.

That's it! I'm moving to Ohio and registering to vote! Campaign for that man!

While browsing my site to check for comments, which are noticeably absent, my loyal Avians, I couldn't help but notice the advertisement in the header of my page.

Now then... using a free service such as blogspot, I knew I would have to put up with ads. I welcome ads, actually, they make me feel like I'm getting money for this in some ways (I'm not, if you didn't realize). But I don't expect any political advertising on my little non-partisan site, especially not a bunch of bastards that support the Bush administration.
