When compared to a tabard most people won't notice (and those in guilds won't use) and a turtle that seems the product of a Japanese children's toy line, the pet is the only thing that seems appealing to me.

Apparently, the turtle mount isn't even really a mount... it goes at normal running speed. So, yes, the Hippogryph I'd love (though if I could ride that turtle at epic mount speed, I may take that).
Also, the trinkets: the fireworks one and ogre illusion one... that second one takes me back to EQ. The best class ever was the Enchanter, who could turn themselves into any playable race, as well as some non-playable ones and animals. Plus, they had a spell called Minor Illusion which turned them into the closest inanimate object (usually a table, chair, or mudpile).
