They say that this year's Olympics is setting high marks and records for
viewership across the world. You know the other weird thing about this year? The United States, for the first time since maybe the fall of the Berlin Wall, is not dominating
medal standings. Germany and Norway are leading us in medals garnered (though the US still is tied for the most gold medals).
Viewership up, US down? Maybe us losing is what the Olympics needed. A little drama comes back to the sport.
