This be one of those great days in life. Enjoy it, me lubbin' readARRRs!!!

Fer a change of pace, the Gettysburg Address--in Pirate:

Four score 'nd seven years ago ARR fathers brought forth upon this 'ere continent, a new nation, free, and... all blokes bein' equal and that stuff.

Now we be fightin', testin' whether we, or any land so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We be met on a great battle-field o' that war. We have come t' dedicate a portion o' that field, as a final restin' place for those brave lads that sank with the ship so we could go on. It be part o' t' code that we do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can't dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground, be it land'r water. T' brave lads, sunk or not, that fought 'ere, consecrated it, far above our poor power t' add or detract. T' world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It be for us t' livin', rather, t' be dedicated here t' t' unfinished work which they 'elped in. It be rather for us t' be here dedicated t' t' great task remainin' -- that from these honored went t' Davy Jones' locker we take increased devotion t' that cause the lads gave t' last full meaaye o' devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these went t' Davy Jones' locker shall not have went t' Davy Jones' locker in vain -- that this land, under God, 'll have a new birth o' freedom -- and that land o' t' people, by t' people, for t' people, be not perishin' from t' land nor waters.
