Afternoon Productions, a subsidiary of Oasis Alliance Studios and eritas Films, has produced a new short flick: What is Bangladesh? What is it, really? A country? A food product? Wait one minute... My teddy bear was stuffed there! And I would like to print a correction... Revenge of the Sith is not better than A New Hope. RotS comes in a bit behind a New Hope. Other than the "Noooooo" and Portman's dismal performance, the movie is not bad, certainly.

Museum of Earth History I have a few qualms with this place. Please, have a look at it, but if you need a short explanation, it's a museum inside a biblical theme park in Arkansas. It has dinosaurs and states that the creatures lived side-by-side with humans... created by God alongside Adam and Eve. Apparently, due to habitat loss and such, the dinosaurs lost to humanity's Manifest Destiny, eventually dying off altogether. There are so many things wrong with this... the Bible supposedly refers to dinosaurs. Okay... but how true is the Bible anyway? Of course, these are the people that deny evolution, even in the face of an evolving world. In fact, the whole reason for the museum is to deny evolution in the face of mounting evidence against creationism. In fact, creationism has become so preposterous that the Catholic Church even accepts the theory of evolution. When creationists like to point out the wording on "theory of evolution", that even we just call it a theory, we have to ask them... what do you have? Barely even a hypothesis. Creationists have something that does not render any proof. There is not a shred of evidence outside of holy scriptures not famous for their accuracy. Eh, I'll just leave it at this. Personally, I'd love to see this museum... but I will never pay for it. Seriously. I pray there are never any state funds put into that place. |
